While the popularity of the Disney Parks is hard to ignore, you can’t deny the wonder and whimsy that Universal Orlando brings to the theme park game! And if you’re looking for more to do in Florida than just Disney World, then Universal Orlando is your ticket to a whole different experience.
Most notably, they get to boast The Wizarding World of Harry Potter—and if you’re a fan of the franchise, then it’s definitely worth putting on your bucket list! You get to ride the Hogwarts Express, walk down Diagon Alley, drink Butter Beer… and become a wizard! It’s an immersive experience that’s fun for kids of all ages.
The parks are divided into Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. In Universal Studios Florida, you’ll find lots of fun, thrilling rides based on all your favorite movies! In Islands of Adventure, you get more Harry Potter and the wild world of Jurassic Park, and that’s just the beginning!
There’s also a lot to be said about Universal Orlando’s resorts—the new Surfside Inn, for example, is an endless summer getaway at a decent value!
But I know what you’re really wondering: how do the food allergy-friendly eats stack up against the ones at Disney World?
To be expected, their procedures are a little different. But to say that you can’t find allergy-friendly food at Universal Orlando is definitely not true. There are some great options at the parks and resorts, and we’re discovering more as we continue to explore them!
Below, you’ll find the food allergy reviews that I’ve done so far. Check out what’s good to eat in the Wizarding World and why Confisco Grille is one of our new favorites. Find out where you can get Starbucks at the parks and what they’re allergy-friendly options are.
Get ready to have some fun… and some good eats… during your next trip to Universal Orlando!
