If you’re in the mood for a quick bite to eat in Universal Studios (especially if you are back by Harry Potter Diagon Alley and don’t want to deal with the Leaky Cauldron), head over to Richter’s Burgers for some food allergy options.
This eatery is pretty cute–and it has A/C, which is a big plus!
Let’s look at their options for allergy friendly eats!
***As Always, please speak to a qualified restaurant employee when ordering food. In order to see the most accurate ingredients and risk assessment, you will need to confirm allergy safety in real-time. Ordering with Food Allergies
Like every place else at Universal, it’s hard to find information online ahead of time, so I spoke to a chef and a manager to see what options there were for food allergies!

As always, speak with a manager or chef before ordering to make sure things haven’t changed.
And they do have a dedicated fryer for fries, which is always a big plus in my book!
They also have lots of options to modify for gluten, egg, dairy, peanut and tree nut allergies (they called these the ‘easy ones’). They have gluten free buns (that contain egg) and they have follow your heart dairy free cheese.
Soy lethicin is the tricky one here. Only salad with no meat and no dressing. If you can do soy lethicin, there are meat options BUT all of the meat is sprayed with a coconut oil/soy lethicin non stick spray.
