There’s a new fry in town… The Fry Basket Booth at EPCOT’s Food and Wine made its debut yesterday! This booth features a collection of different french fries and assorted drinks.
Let’s talk about the allergen procedures, and options for each allergen. Remember- this is not an official guide from Disney- so declare your allergens in real time to make sure they can accommodate you. See all the new procedures for allergies at Food and Wine this year.

Food Allergy options at EPCOT’s new Fry Booth for Food and Wine Festival
After testing this booth multiple times (And the many helpful and wonderful messages from this community!) I don’t recommend modifying the fry flight currently *because* we are getting conflicting info. Some are told the gluten in the malt vinegar fries is a secondary malt vinegar packet you add yourself, others are told it contains gluten, and others are told it can’t be modified (all three happened to me). For those with an intolerance, this is likely ok, but I’m encouraging you to eat according to your risk factors.
Gluten/Wheat
This booth has three dedicated fryers. One for the Yuca Fries, one for the potatoes, and one for the sweet potatoes.
Adobo Yuca Fries with garlic-cilantro aïoli (New) (Gluten/ Wheat Friendly) (Plant-based)
These require no modifications.
The Fry Flight does require some modifications.
- Sea Salt and Malt Vinegar Fries (need to have these plain, without the malt vinegar)
- Barbecue Bacon Fries with sweet aoili
- Sweet Potato Casserole Fries with candied pecans, toasted marshmallow cream and Caramel Whisky (need to have these without the whisky)
Dairy
The Adobo Fries are already without whisky, and then the Fry Flight will need to be modified to remove two ingredients (The aioli and the cream)
Treenuts
Treenuts are present in the booth, pecans are on the sweet potato casserole. For several allergies you’d need to skip this because even with separate container for the pecans and a glove change, cross contact is present. For less several allergies, modify the sweet potato fries.
Soy
There’s soy in the Yucca Fries that cannot be modified. For the Fry Flight, you’d need to remove the aioli.

Peanuts
Currently no peanuts, as they are using a canola oil blend. And while I don’t think they would ever use peanut oil, there have been a lot of supply issues this year. Be sure to check to make sure it’s still peanut free.
No Egg, No Fish/Shellfish currently at the booth
Tips for the Fry Basket Booth

For one, I’d recommend going to this booth when it first opens at 11. Opening day it closed quite early.
For two, the portions are not very large, so consider carrying them over to another booth (like Brew Wing right across the bridge, or Mexico right across the bridge and past the bathrooms) to make a ‘meal’.
Lastly, it’s pretty sunny in this spot, and the fries are hot! If you are willing to risk them selling out, these fries would be perfect in the evening when it’s not so hot outside.
Overall, I loved this booth, and it will be a staple for our time at Food and Wine this year!
