Breakfast is back at Akershus Character Meal and I could not be more excited! Not only was a great meal with some very inclusive options, but the Characters were amazing!
I’m not sure which option I prefered, as I’ve done both Dinner and now Breakfast (plus lunch is the same as Dinner!) I enjoyed that Breakfast had a lot of predictable foods, while Dinner really expanded your pallet (plus Dinner had dessert!). You can see the Akershus Character Dinner Review if you are considering that option.

Akershus Breakfast Food Review
For Starters, I spoke to a Chef like I always do. I had a great conversation with this Chef, and learned a lot about what options were available. Since I was by myself, I was only managing Two Top Allergens (Wheat and Soy) with Gluten and Pineapple.
This is a Character Meal, and it is AUCE (All You Care to Enjoy!). The options are served Family Style, so there’s no Buffet here. (But if you head to a Buffet, see how to order with Allergies or Gluten Free)
The Chef started me off with the modified Allergy Breakfast Platter, which includes the Udi’s Allergy Muffins, Cheese, Ham, Salami, Salmon Spread and Berry Compote. Plus a Bowl of Fruit. I loved everything here, especially the Norwegian Cheese!

Then the Main Platter, which was regular Scrambled Eggs, Beyond Plant Based Sausage, Bacon, Cheesy Potato Casserole and Allergy Waffles.

Would you enjoy this option? And Do I Recommend it?
I do recommend this option, as they have inclusive options so that everyone has multiple items on their plate.
For those with more restrictive diets, like my oldest son, you would have a very different plate from those who have no restrictions. My Oldest, with several top 9 allergens+ Gluten Free and a lot more allergies not in the top 9, would have had the Waffles, Allergy Rolls, Udi’s Rolls, Fruit, Eggs, and Bacon. This would have looked different to the options I had above- but still with plenty to eat (because some locations simply do not have enough allergy options).
I’d rate this a 5/5. Easy to Order, Plenty of options, Breakfast (which is hard to find inside the parks!), 5 Characters, and All You Care to Enjoy!
