2022 was the year for Gluten Friendly Desserts at Disney World and we’re coming to you with a new fun treat for the Holidays!
The Santa’s Forest was advertised on the Disney Parks Blog as Plant Based, and while it fits Disney’s definition of Plant Based, it is not vegan (as Plant Based doesn’t automatically mean vegan).
We originally covered this in the 2022 Holiday Foodie Guide Predictions Sheet, and happy to report it was right on the money.
While I was there to check on this cake, I did find another cake that was mislabeled.
⭐ If this is your First Time to Disney World, you’ll want all the insider tips and done for you plans found in the Food Allergies at Disney World Made Easy Guide , If you’ve been here before and just need the best places to eat and snacks, see the Touring Plan and Snack Guide. Allergy and Ingredient Details for the new Santa Forest Dessert
This is a dense peppermint cheesecake made with a Soy base. My taste tester said it had a slightly salted taste and was obviously tofu, but was similar to cheesecake. The flavors were balanced, and paired well with the chocolate cake at the bottom. The fondant pieces on top were a cute touch but not very tasty.
Top Allergens: Treenut, Soy, Corn (note Pea also)
