Good news my friends! We’ve got a menu update, and that menu includes a fried favorite, Gluten Free Calamari!
The Calamari is made with Cup4Cup Flour and Buttermilk, so it contains Dairy and Cannot be modified.

New Gluten Free Calamari added to Spice Road Table in EPCOT
Over at Spice Road Table in Morocco, we’ve got a fantastic update… the Gluten Free Calamari!
When we went, the physical menu hadn’t been updated, but the digital menu does show that this is labeled Gluten Friendly. It is not a secret menu item (so no having to ask nicely for a modifications!)
It’s made in a dedicated allergy fryer, no other wheat involved, and with Cup4Cup flour. It’s labeled for Gluten/Wheat, Soy, Egg, Peanut and Tree Nut.
This is a different recipe than the ones offered at Trattoria Al Forno on the Disney Boardwalk (ironically just a few steps away through the International Gateway entrance!)
But still delicious!
It’s crunchy yet obviously fried, with a slight flour taste (which the Chef did say they are still perfecting!) I would rate it at a 4/5!
And while there, there’s several other options available to enjoy! I love the Spicy Shrimp and the Dolmas, and Vee at Magically Allergy Friendly, enjoyed the Lamb!
I would highly recommend this location if you are on the other side of World Showcase (or take the boat straight from the World Showcase Entrance before Canada over to Morocco!)
