Tucked back in a little corridor of France in the Epcot World Showcase, youâll find the coveted ice cream spot, L’artisan des Glaces.
While the offerings are primarily ice cream, there are some allergy friendly options, including one of our gluten free favorites!
Plus, the kiddos thoroughly enjoy the sorbet (almost as much as they like the kakagori in Japan!) and the allergen procedures h
Also note that not all locations at EPCOT are owned by Disney World, this location is 3rd party owned! If your curious here’s the list of what’s Disney owned, and whats not

***As Always, please speak to a qualified restaurant employee when ordering food. In order to see the most accurate ingredients and risk assessment, you will need to confirm allergy safety in real-time. Letâs take a peek at what they offer!
While some of their foods are seasonal, some are here year round.

One of my husband’s favorite is the gluten free macaroons and which! Perfectly crunchy, yet cold for those warm days, youâll find that itâs a mouthful of flavor.

They also offer ice cream, as well as a dairy-free sorbet!
Hereâs some of the things they offer year round and seasonally.

Not interested in sorbet but looking for a dairy free treat? You can head to sunshine seasons to get the coconut based fruit parfait đ„°
How to order
Tell the cashier you have an allergy, and look at the allergy options (listed below!)

Make your selection and confirm that they will grab from the back. This helps keep you safe from cross contamination.
This is a shared kitchen, and there is dairy and wheat all over the place! They also have some nut based products as well.

After youâve selected youâll wait to the side for them to bring it to you from the back. Then enjoy!
My favorite thing to get from there is the Strawberry Sorbet. While I enjoy the Raspberry one found throughout the parks (like for dessert at many places- you can see it here at Liberty Tree Tavern!) I really enjoy how light and fruity the strawberry sorbet is! It is just too yummy!

This picture shows TWO scoops- which I recommend because it always seems to go so fast!
Normally, my husband gets the macaroon (it’s gluten free just not dairy free) and then the kids and I get the sorbet. It is just so yummmyyyyyy! Nothing like a safe top 8 treat that the whole family can enjoy and it’s so inclusive.
Next time you’re in Epcot, definitely go check out L’Artisan des Glaces!

While you’re in EPCOT
Definitely check out Garden Grill–itâs one of our family’s favorite character meals on property for allergy ease and one to one offerings for those without food restrictions.
Many of the restaurants around the world showcase are NOT owned by Disney, like the quick serve in Japan, but they still have some allergy procedures in place. It might not be what you are used to.
You can leave out the back entrance and head to beaches and cream (itâs a short walk away)
Or hop on the skyliner and check out the restaurant options on that loop, like Topolino’s at the Riveria Resort, or the food courts at Pop and Art of Animation.
