How Does Gluten Free Trick-R-Treating work at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party?
First, you’ll get a Teal Colored Allergy Bag AND a Regular Reusable Halloween Bag when you first enter the Party (or at the Regular Treat Stations, or at the Allergy Stations). Then you can visit the Allergy Redemption Locations to get the Allergy Friendly options.
I know I’m saying ‘Allergy’ a lot, because Disney lumps Gluten Free under Allergy. They do have Gluten Free options at the Allergy Centers.
There are Two Allergy Redemption Locations, marked on the map with a Teal Pumpkin.

Location One is at the Main Street Chamber of Commerce. This is located on the Left Entrance/Exit for Magic Kingdom, and near Guest Services.
Location Two is at the Liberty Tree Guest Services Ticket location, located near Sleepy Hollow Quick Serve. Liberty Tree is to the Left of Cinderella’s Castle as you walk down Main Street into the Hub of Magic Kingdom.

There’s two ways to get Treats when you are Gluten Free at MNSSHP.
The first is to walk up to the Two Redemption Centers, marked on the map with a Teal Mickey Pumpkin (Labeled the Allergy Friendly Centers!)

The Second Option, is to go through the lines and get the Teal Mickey Allergy ‘Coins’. Then you can go to the Allergy Center to redeem the Coins. You do not have to have the coins to get Treats, and you get LOTs of treats for one coin. Remember this is an all you can Trick-r-treat, so you can go back through the line, or ask for more.

Once you get there, let them know your needs, and you can check out the options available. They do have Ingredient lists!
Can you get the treats from the Regular Treat Stations if you are Gluten Free?
You can absolutely get treats at the regular Trick-r-treat lines. These are all stored in one giant bin, and as you walk through, they put a handful in your bag. They generally don’t like you stopping to ask for a specific item (as there’s a line behind you). I’d recommend waiting till the end of the night, or going to a line that is short during the fireworks so that you can ask for specific items.
What Gluten Free options are available at the Regular Treat Stations?
- Snickers
- Kind Bars
- M&M’s
- Starburts
- Skittles

Alyssa from HerewiththeEars shared this photo of the Kind Bars with me, she said she got them at the StoryBook Circus Treat Station

Gluten Friendly Food options for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2023
Friar’s Nook in Fantasyland
Pain and Panic Tots
*no modification needed, Tots in Dedicated Fryer
I really liked the flavor on these, it reminded me of Fair Food since it was greasy with a little spice.

Storybook Treats in Fantasyland
Hades Cone – Modified No Cone
A delightfully fruity cone topped with just the right amount of Tajin.

Cheshire Cafe
Queen of Hearts Slushy and Witches Cold Brew
I got the Queen of Hearts Slushy- and I loved it! I did ask for it without the crown topping, as that had a shared facility warning (but most people with Celiac would be fine, I did it for my Soy Allergy)

Auntie Gravity’s
Apple Fritter Shake- Modified No Fritter
Easily my Favorite Beverage option of the Night, this Shake was everything I wanted (even without the fritter option!) The Foam on top was so Fluffy and the right amount of flavor, and the bottom Milkshake tasted like Brown Sugar Oatmeal.

Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe
River Styx Drink
A Simple, yet very refreshing, iced drink. I thought the flavors were nicely paired (not artificial ick- I could have easily gotten a second one!)

Peco Bills
Bowl of Bones
No Mods needed, Made in a dedicated fryer. Does list some undisclosed natural flavors for those that need to be extra careful. I loved the flavor on these. They were nicely cooked and just the right amount of sweetness.

Golden Oak Outpost
Loaded Sweet Potato Fries
No Mods needed AND THE BEST ITEM OF THE NIGHT! These are made in a dedicated fryer (but next to other fryers with gluten, so the risk is smaller, but the risk is there!)
Literally nothing could have made these fries more perfect. It was the right balance of toppings to fries, the right balance of sweet to salty, the right balance of creamy to crunchy. 20/10 recommended!

What Dining Locations are open during the party? Do they have Gluten Free Food?
While I recommend eating before the party to save on time, you can also eat during the party. Several locations are open, and I’ll list all the ones below that have an allergy menu (not drinks or treats).
