Fun Mermaid Slush in Magic Kingdom- Allergy Update GF, SF, Pn/Tn Free, Dairy Modified

The Mermaid Slush is found over at Prince Eric’s Market in Fantasyland. The hours are limited and it is common for this location to be closed in ‘slower times’ or when staffing is an issue.

Coming in at 5.99 (6.38 with tax), I’d label this treat as one of the more budget friendly yet still very disney-picture-worthy type snacks!

***As Always, please speak to a qualified restaurant employee when ordering food. In order to see the most accurate ingredients and risk assessment, you will need to confirm allergy safety in real-time. The current allergy sheet lists Milk and Corn as allergens, with no other top allergens present BUT the ingredients for the Mermaid Tail Garnish are left off the allergen sheet***** Cast Members told me it was a white chocolate base, but because I wasn’t sure of the ingredients, I only took the picture without tasting it.

This is a rare soy free treat, BUT for those with a severe all forms soy allergy, be aware there are many natural and artificial flavors listed, as well as Mono & Diglycerides.

Milk can be modified by leaving off the whip cream and tail garnish.

And this treat is free from all forms of Red Dye!

There’s lots more treats at Magic Kingdom, and you can find them all in this Allergy Friendly Magic Kingdom Guide for 2022 .

My review

It’ very sweet, yet not overpowering. Similar to other slushes around Magic Kingdom, like Lefou’s Brew, it is deceptively refreshing (because I definitely needed a water after the few sips I had)

Need some other treats? Prince Eric’s Market also offered pickles, assorted fruits like grapes and apples, and turkey legs (all of which are free from most top allergens!)
