The Holidays are back in full swing at Universal Orlando! There’s music, there’s parades that beam guests with confetti, and Character Performers are out in full effect to share the holiday cheer.
Since we have food allergies here, I went to not only enjoy the sites (which are great in their own right) but to check on options for our free from family.
There are a *few* items here, and it is *very* confusing to find them and the ingredient lists. I actually waited so long to get the allergy confirmation that the manager comped my desserts (as 45 minutes is quite the adventure for something that should be easily accessible, but I’ve also been waiting for an email from LEGOLAND for 5 days now)
Let’s chat about Allergy Friendly Eats at Universal Orlando this Christmas!
Allergy Friendly Eats at Universal Orlando this Christmas!
First up, we’ve got green popcorn ( I think it’s grinch-corn LOL).
It is the regular popcorn (which contains coconut oil and corn but free from other top allergens) with a dye added. The dye does not contain Red Dye #40.
Next are several Gluten Free Holiday Offerings. These contain ALL of the other top allergens. You can find these in Universal CityWalk at MistleToe Pines and in both parks at bakeries and restaurants.
