There’s a lot to do this Holiday Season at Disney, starting with the Festival of the Holidays. Here you can go around to each of the locations in World Showcase to hear tales and songs of Holidays that different people celebrate around the World. You can also dine on authentic flavored options from Latkes to Pernil and several desserts!

The Festival runs from November 24-December 30th.

Food booths typically open between 11am and Park Closing (generally that’s 9pm). They are located in World Celebration, World Discovery and around World Showcase.

New Allergy Procedures at this Years Festival!

We’ve been through a lot of changes at the EPCOT Festivals, from 2019 where no options were listed, to 2022 where we could ask to talk to a chef… this year in 2023 we have an Allergy Guide!

You will notice that Disney removed the Gluten Friendly Label from the Paper Festival Passport and the Display Signs outside the Booth. And they did not include any new Allergy Label for Signs.

Instead, this year, you will find Gluten Friendly items labeled with the top 9 Allergy Items, inside a New Menu format that you can find in the MyDisneyExperience App. You will type in ‘allergy friendly EPCOT’ and hit ‘view menu’ to see the full list of current Items.

When ordering, let the Cashier know you need your item Allergy Friendly, State your allergens, and they will make a quick phone call to confirm that ingredients and procedures *for that day* are safe for you. Be sure to ask about Shared Fryers, as some items have cross contact. Allergy Friendly (Disney’s Labeling) does not always equal Allergen Free.

When ordering:

I like to declare my allergen, ask about the modifications, tell the Cast Member who takes my receipt for the order, and then confirm the modifications there + watch to make sure my food is fresh with a glove change (two exceptions, both Brazil and Spain are totally gluten friendly)

About Third Party Booths- Info and Expectations

Third party booths at EPCOT are owned and operated by other companies besides Disney. While they have Allergy Guides, procedures are different.

The third party locations are:

Mexico, China, Italy, Japan and France.

Generally, their standards for Allergies are lower than Disneys, and I’d recommend skipping them (As they will also tell you!) if you are concerned about cross contact..
