The Flower and Garden Festival is such a fun time of year- in fact I would say it’s my favorite time of year!

It is so much fun to take part in all that Epcot has to offer, like the fresh food offerings, the unique gardens and the fun stuff for kids!

So what exactly is fun for kids at Epcot Flower and Garden?

This is actually one of the times where Disney does a great job meeting the needs of the entire family, from great drink and food selections for adults, to plenty of food, sites and events for the kiddos!

I’ll break down all the details for you!

Special themed play areas just for kids

I’ll start with one o the best perks of the Flower and Garden Festival, and that’s the playgrounds!

Every year, Disney comes out with some cool places for kids to learn and grow as they blow off steam.

Last year, in 2018, I really enjoyed the playgrounds, but this year, they went ALL OUT. The entire area is completely themed and their are WAY more areas for parents and caregivers to sit and relax while their kids have fun!

The two playgrounds are located in Future World East and Future World West.

Future World East- Play Full Garden

The Highlight of the playground for the bigger kids was this spinning globe.
Even the grass was themed- my baby didn’t seem to care but I thought it was cool.
Musical Leafs

Lots of great places for sitting and relaxing in the shade at the playground!

Future World West- Bo Peeps Playtime Training Grounds- Toy Story Themed

Of course, more seating!

They had a smaller area for 2-5 where my youngest loved to play!
This is the area for the bigger kids- plenty of room to jump and play!

Interactive Gardens full of Educational Content

Another favorite for kids (and adults!) is the interactive and educational gardens all over the festival.

These pop up gardens are easy to find- mostly because of the scavenger hunt that Epcot always has! You can grab one of these for 6.99 and then look for them around the park.

Here’s some pictures of my favorites!

This is the butterfly garden. It is a MUST SEE.

Food Labeled Kid Friendly

In case you didn’t know, one of the main parts of these festivals is the pop up food stands! They have the menu outside on a kiosk (it’s a fixed menu) and they also have it in a guide book you can pick up throughout the park.

The three labels you’ll see are

GF- for Gluten Free

V- for vegetarian

πŸ“ and a strawberry- For Kid Friendly Options

Topiaries with Fun Characters!

Some would say the best part of the Flower and Garden Festival is seeing all the cool plants and topiaries- especially when they find their favorite Disney Characters!

Don’t wait to check out one of the best Festivals Epcot has to offer!

If you don’t have plans to go to Epcot Flower and Garden- you need to make them! And if you do, be prepared for lots of fun! It is seriously a blast! My kids and I had so much fun! You can check out more on my instagram.
