Welcome to the 100 acre woods my Friends! We are here to see Pooh and Friends, enjoy a great meal, and have fun at the most magical place on earth!

Located at Magic Kingdom, Crystal Palace is the Budget option for Character Meals (as it’s the least expensive of the three options inside Magic Kingdom!).

This is a great meal to add to your day, because you get to meet Pooh and Friends. It’s also just a good use of air conditioning, sit down time, and all you care to enjoy Buffet eats.

***As Always, please speak to a qualified restaurant employee when ordering food. In order to see the most accurate ingredients and risk assessment, you will need to confirm allergy safety in real-time. Fall 2022 Food Allergy Menu and Gluten Free Menu

Reminder that Disney puts Gluten on the Allergy Menu, so the allergy menu covers the top 8 USA allergens (Wheat, Dairy, Soy, Egg, Peanut, Treenut, Fish and Shellfish) and Gluten.

➡️This is a buffet, learn all about Disney buffets and how to manage them here.

Notable Eats on the Crystal Palace Allergen Guide:

    • Allergy Dinner Rolls
    • Allergy Mac and Cheese

    My review!

I choose to look at the Allergy Offerings and then place my order with a Chef to make sure there is no cross contact. Buffets are known for mixing allergens, as regular folks use tongs or drop food or kids make a mess.

I ordered with the Chef, and then they brought out my plate. (not sure how to talk to a Chef or Server? Get the scripts for clear communication and stress free ordering!) This is one of my favorite ‘paleo’ or meat based Buffets. The prime rib here is delicious!

Rolls were also brought out, these are the Bloomfield Farms allergy rolls. These are free from the top 8 allergens and gluten free. ( made without Wheat, Dairy, Soy, Egg, Peanut, Treenut, Fish and Shellfish).

Dessert was kinda sad here. They used to have these delicious top 7 allergy friendly and plant based brownies before the 2020 closure. The three times I’ve been since reopening are with HomeFree Cookies (labeled free from the top 8 allergens and gluten free {this flavor does contain soy lethicin}), and the SweetStreet Gluten Free Brownies (gluten free, contains dairy, egg, soy and made in a peanut and treenut containing facility).

They also have all you can eat soft serve Ice Cream (allergens: Dairy), that is on the buffet line.

    Characters at Crystal Palace

Pooh Bear, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet all come out to play at the 100 acre wood! This location is rather large and hard to maneuver, so it’s *very* likely you will only see the Characters one time only if this is at Capacity. It’s possible they will circle through twice if you are willing to wait, but do not expect them to (or to come around a third time!)

    Final Summary

This is a fantastic Character Meal and one that comes recommended! There is a healthy number of options for those with restricted diets, and a very comparable meal when you look at regular buffet options. While dessert is lacking here for some restrictions, it makes up for it by being the most budget friendly Character Meal in Magic Kingdom.
