Crisped Rice Treats now back with Malt Flavoring

Imagine my surprise… two Rice Crispy Change ups in one year!

Late last year, I found out that the Crisped Rice Treats were being made with a different puffed rice that did not contain Malt. So these were being offered by Disney under mobile ordering as Gluten Friendly.

Almost a year later… and we are back to seeing Kellogs Rice Crispies being used in the crisped rice. This does contain Malt and is properly labeled on the treats, though they did not put ‘contains gluten’ on the allergy statement (which they should). Just another example of inconsistencies and issue with the labeling.

As always, check in real time on your trip to Disney World, as we’ve seen so many ingredient changes (including changes that are so quick they dont have new allergy sheets for it!)
