Contempo Cafe always makes me want to dance, not only because it has a cute name (short for Contemporary which houses the quick serve) but also because it has some fun allergy friendly options.
Best Part? It’s only a quick walk away from Magic Kingdom, so if you are visiting there for the day you can pop over to this quick serve or any of the other restaurants in the Contemporary Resort.
You also don’t have to be staying at the resorts or even have a ticket for the parks, which makes this a fun addition to the Allergy Friendly Monorail Food Crawl.

One things is that they don’t list ALL The options when you are looking at the app. They don’t mention that they have a Top 8 Friendly Cupcake (in chocolate and Vanilla) or that they have a Flourless Gluten Free Cake available for purchase.

It’s so important not to rely on the app alone, and check reviews like these (or social media, whichever you prefer) and then check in person!

Here’s some common items you can find at Contempo Cafe.
At Breakfast: Top 8 Friendly Mickey Waffles, Potatoes, Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, and fruit. Plus dairy/egg free ‘eggs’.

At Lunch and Dinner: Burgers, Sandwiches, Allergy Flatbreads. They have top 8 friendly buns and bread. Salads, Tofu bowls, and chicken nuggets.
You’ll also find a bunch of snacks not listed on the app, and these are somewhat seasonal or change on product availability. Typically there is Soy and Almond Milk, as well as items like Rice Chips, Gluten Free Chex, Regular Bagged Chips and Candies, Cheese, Fruits and Veggies (both whole options and some prebagged options)
