One of the most iconic meals in all of Disney World is Chef Mickey’s! Why? Besides being really easy to get to from Magic Kingdom, it’s one of the only places to meet the Fab 5! You get a delicious meal, and you get to meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto!
We went to Chef Mickey’s to try their allergy friendly Brunch and also got a look at the Dinner Menu–those are listed below. Overall, we had an interesting time. Check out my review and see what up to date options you have for meals!

But before we start: I thought I got glutened 😬
The littlest one and I went to Chef Mickey’s character meal at the contemporary today. It’s been a few years since we went and I had been hearing mixed reviews so we picked a 230 meal specifically so I could talk to a chef without it being busy.

Got seated, got the chef, but everything with the characters was so rushed and so loud I didn’t get to ask what gluten free waffle mix he used. And then when they brought it out I didn’t get to confirm because there was a dance party going on (place is still crazy busy at 230 and sooo rushed!)

Y’all, when I took a bite of these waffles I was shocked–they definitely weren’t the normal allergy friendly ones that I was used to–and I pushed them aside and called for the chef, preparing for the worst.
BUT GOOD NEWS. They actually make the mix in house! Whew! It’s so good I thought it was gluten 😬😅
This is top 7 free (has egg and sprinkles have soy lethicin) but can be made without egg! These waffles are 🔥🔥🔥🔥

What we ate 😋
When I spoke with the chef we had planned to get quite a few more items, but he ended up bringing out about half of that. BUT the food we were served was very good!
No soy free butter (they had smart balance not earth balance)! We had waffles, a fruit bowl, and rice with turkey.

This was all top 8 safe (minus the sprinkles which had soy lethicin)
For Dessert we had cupcakes with enjoy life cookies! The cupcakes do have egg.

Conclusion ⭐
Overall we enjoyed Chef Mickey’s allergy friendly menu, but it was quite rushed. Highly recommend Topolinos or Ohana’s if you want the character meals with Mickey and friends without the rush.
