Allergy Information for the Grand Floridian Easter Treats (Disney World) 2022

It’s the holiday season (again, because Disney is all about capitalizing on the holidays!)

We are back with a brand new in 2022 option at the Grand Floridian.

Now before the shut down, they would have themed eats and the beautiful display of easter eggs handmade in chocolate and other desserts.

This year in 2022 they are coming out with a bang! We have our very own Easter House filled with goodies (much like the christmas house) and my hope is that this tradition continues for other holidays and years!

Allergy Note

It should be noted that these items are made in a shared facility (like much on Disney World property) and that we know they have allergy procedures but it’s all on shared equipment. The wording is also ambiguous as it’s “friendly” which has no legally set meaning, and some items are ‘no gluten added’ meaning we don’t know what the procedures were for cross contamination!

***As Always, please speak to a qualified restaurant employee when ordering food. In order to see the most accurate ingredients and risk assessment, you will need to confirm allergy safety in real-time. This is my personal experience, I am not employed or endorsed by companies or brands mentioned.***

Accessing the Grand Floridian

The best option is to come over from the Magic Kingdom, either by Monorail, Small Boat, or by Walking (about 15 minutes).

You can also walk here from the other nearby resorts (the Polynesian or the Contemporary)

Plus catch a bus from Disney Springs.

Parking is limited, but if you have a reservation at one of the restaurants you can park and head in!

Some of the Items Available for Purchase

Here’s a closer look at the menu

“No Gluten Added list” includes the chocolate chip cookie sandwich, marshmallows, white chocolate jelly bean filled egg, dark chocolate bunny and raspberry minnie fudge.

The Gluten Friendly Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich, a true misnomer as above was labeled no gluten added, lists ingredients: white rice flour, brown rice flour, potato starch, sorghum flour, tapioca flour, xantham gum, butter, sugar, corn syrup, vanilla bean paste, palm oil, soy lecithin, glaze and artificial colors.

No allergens are listed but should be noted that there ARE allergens. Dairy, Soy, plus corn.

The Crispy Rice Cereal Treat include a malt flavoring (like gluten based), Dairy, Soy, Corn and Artificial colors.

Marshmallows include egg, gelatin, natural flavorings and artificial colors.

Conclusion

This is absolutely adorable and I recommend heading over if you are here for the season! Keep a look out for other fun treats from this bakery (As a little mouse told me they are just getting started!)
