Over at Animal Kingdom you’ll find a lot of fun quick serve options. We were there to check out any changes at Restaurantosaurus (really only the burger and nuggets were changed!) and decided to try Flame Tree BBQ.
This is one of the first quick service options you’ll find as you enter the park. Once you cross into Discovery Island and head to the right you’ll be greeted by this quick serve.
While this was a good meal, the best BBQ is found at this EPCOT quick serve.

Food Allergy Review for Gluten, Soy and Dairy
Flame Tree Barbecue has Quick Serve options for Lunch and Dinner.
Following some new allergen procedures, there was not an allergen menu available, and instead a Cast Member came out with the iPad.
All of the meats (Ribs, Chicken, Pulled Pork) come with a seasoning of several ingredients including Badia All Purpose Seasoning. They are not offered without the seasoning.

Since I couldn’t do the seasoning, I opted for the Beyond Sausage Dog. This is the same Beyond Sausage you can buy in the store, and it’s top 8 free. We love getting these sausages at ‘Ohana and I’m so happy to find them in the parks.

The Beyond Sausage was fried in a shared Onion Ring Fryer (the fries have their own dedicated fryer) and served on a Bloomfield Farms top 8 free hotdog bun. If you’ve never had the bun before, just know it’s pretty chewy.
I did ask if the sausage could be cooked and not fried, and the manager said yes, but it would take longer.
Overall it was a good meal, but Satu’li Canteen is still my go to!
Here’s an option *just* gluten free.
He opted for the 1/2 Chicken with Fries and Coleslaw. The Chicken is safe for most allergens (depending on your seasoning comfort), but the coleslaw contained soy.

He enjoyed the meal chicken and fries, and said that despite coleslaw being hard to mess up, it wasn’t very good.
As always, check with restaurant staff regarding brands and modifications for your dietary needs.
