Ale and Compass is back open at Disney World’s Yacht Club and things like buffets are making a comeback!
We headed over there to try out the breakfast and see about some speciality items + chat with the Chef’s for some allergy procedures.
Good news, the allergy friendliness of Disney World extends all the way around Disney’s Boardwalk and it was a pleasant and wonderful meal… so if you want to know if I recommend booking a reservation there for breakfast… it’s YES!

Breakfasts are often ‘limited’ to breakfast items, and with a buffet/entree option things can get a little tricky!
The Buffet features a lot of allergy full items, featuring pastries, parfaits, fruits and other bread heavy breakfast combos. I was advised by the chef to not get the buffet, not only because of cross contact, but because every allergen was present.

So we opted for some yummy modified Entree’s!
They have a lot of great options here. Like top 9 (contains corn) allergy friendly waffles that are free from gluten/wheat, dairy, soy, eggs, peanuts, treenuts, sesame, fish and shellfish. They also have tofu, plant based eggs, regular eggs, bacon, turkey bacon, sausage, potatoes, fruit, veggies and lots of options for modifications. (note that they offer shellfish at breakfast as well as lunch and dinner)

My daughter got a al la carte kids plate with fruit, yogurt and bacon.

I wanted the Dark Chocolate Waffles modified for my allergies! The dark chocolate waffles themselves are only safe for pn/tn/f/sf so I opted for the allergy waffles with the toppings. The toppings are safe for all allergies besides dairy.

Plus before we came over we grabbed a brownie from the market at ale and compass (and if you eat there with allergies, know that the food is prepared at Ale and Compass kitchen and then brought over to you!) That brownie doesn’t list any top allergens and is heavenly (see the instagram post about it below!)
